Ryan Davis's death occurred while "Young Sheldon", season 5 episode 6 "Money Laundering, and a Cascade of Hormones," was currently in production. Davis was an acclaimed audio engineer whose work was featured in many movies and television shows. For instance, on "Young Sheldon" he was a mixing mixer for fifty episodes. He expertly blended every audio element perfectly. When retooling every sound component, Davis worked on details like Adult Sheldon's voice-over narration which adds a warm and nostalgic feel. In the Season 4 premiere, he helped reveal the name of Sheldon as well as Amy's upcoming child. Davis's talents were lent to this enthralling moment of the prequel show during his entire time on the show.
